Jersey was our first Chesapeake from a special breeding from Silvercreek and Chesabar kennels in New Jersey. She was a very special girl. All that knew her loved her. She was full of energy, yet very gentle. She was our bed buddy. she loved, loved to swim and could retrieve balls all day long!
We lost her last year but she is forever in our soul and in our hearts. She gave us a beautiful litter and we have two of her offspring that we cherish everyday.
We decided to name our kids after Jersey town names, in honor of their mother, Jersey. When we found the town name we liked, we found an event or something special in that town. Annandale, NJ has a Ladies Night Out on specific nights. We thought that was cool!
An avid, strong swimmer, Addie earned her Dock Novice title in one weekend. She loves to hear the crowd cheer her on!
At 8 1/2 years old, she earned her Junior Hunter title after 3 months of training with the required 4 passes with 4 times out. Amazing...we are so proud! her instincts are true and strong.
Addie is an energetic girl with loads of love to give. She loves to cuddle on the couch and give kisses.
Continuing with the New Jersey naming theme, Aberdeen, NJ has an annual wave riding competition. Hence Rider's name.
Rider earned his Championship easily in the Bred By Class. Continuing on to his Grand Championship, he had a Group Placement. In 2017 he ranked in the top 20 Chesapeakes ending the year as the #13 Chessie!
Rider is a lover. He is extremely affectionate and well mannered. We are very proud of him, his accomplishments and his overall representation for the breed.
He loves to swim, retrieve and hang on the couch with us!
Brielle is just a cutie. She competed in conformation earning a Best of Breed and a Group 4 in the Owner/Handler ring. We chose to have her go to Field training and title while she is still young. We will continue her Conformation after her Field work is done. She has great drive and stamina and swims fast and hard to get those birds!
We welcomed her litter with Rider on April 19, 2019 blessing us with 10 healthy pups. We are so proud and can't wait to allow some lucky families to be a part of the Gulf Water's family.
A.J. is so named because she resembles her grandmother Addie. A.J.'s sire is Addie's son Briggs. A.J. brings life to our home. She is very affectionate and well mannered, and just loves to play! She is only 8 months old and will begin conformation competitions the summer of 2019. We anticipate a promising career and field trial titling.
Kizzy came to us in June 2018. She is just full of life and love! Her family history is strong in field work so she has been at camp for a few months. She is ready to run for her Junior Hunter title and hoping to achieve Senior and maybe Master by the end of 2019. He drive and stamina are simply amazing. We are proud to have her as part of our family.
